VPI Weisline Tonearm Cable Announced
VPI has announced the launch of its Weisline tonearm cable which has been designed in collaboration with Nordost Cables, who knows a thing-or-two about this stuff.
VPI proudly states that the Weisline high-performance tonearm cable features “attention to detail that makes a sonic head-and-shoulders difference”. Apparently, the VPI Weisline was met with an impressive response when it was unveiled at a recent VPI Dealer Event.
Available in a choice of three lengths, 1 Metre (£600), 1.5 Metre (£700 and 2 Metres (£800) the cable features 4 x 28 AWG, Solid core OFC Conductors and utilises Nordost's FEP (Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene) extrusion. Additionally, the cable is formed in twisted pairs to eliminate inter-channel crosstalk, and there is individual shielding of the left and right channel to mitigate EMI/RFI interference.
Also, there is a separately shielded, silver-plated bond wire that runs parallel to the signal channels for optimum grounding capabilities, according to VPI. Finally, the American-made cable is terminated with high quality, low mass, gold-plated connectors.
Pricing is as follows:
• 1 metre at £600
• 1.5 metre at £700
• 2 metre at £800
