FINKTEAM BORG LANDS IN UK
We were totally assimilated by the FinkTeam Borg at High End Munich, and now the people of the UK can be too.
Thanks to the appointment of Kog Audio as the UK distributor for FinkTeam loudspeakers, the Borg will soon be here.
Seemingly a newcomer in loudspeaker production, however, FinkTeam are well-established experts in the field. Being the offshoot of Fink Audio Consulting - this places them as Europe's leading acoustical consultancy, and the brains behind many manufacturers speaker and electronic designs.
FinkTeam Borg
The first FinkTeam model to hit the UK is the Borg, a two-way floor standing design featuring a 10.25-inch high-power mid/bass driver and an Air Motion Transformer (AMT) tweeter.
Borg is a significant design exercise, as knitting a 10.25 inch mid/bass, albeit an extremely fine one, with an HF unit is never easy.
To combine the two drivers to achieve a flat frequency response and, more importantly, a slow, even mid/HF roll-off in the power response is a comprehensive feat of engineering.
For ideal room and system integration, Borg features rear panel controls for damping and fine response shaping.

FinkTeam currently has two speakers to offer at the moment, but a third ("a large-ish standmount") will be coming in early 2020.
We are confident that Borg will prove to be both an eye- and ear-catching product for many UK audiophiles.
