The London Audio Show 2024 Lands at Heathrow
The London Audio Show will be re-established at the popular and proven Radisson Red Hotel (formerly the Park Inn).
The London Audio Show returns for 2024 after its resurrection was postponed last year as show organisers, The Chester Group, felt that relaunching and adding another UK hi-fi show to the 2023 calendar would be too much of a financial stretch for show-goers and exhibitors alike.
Still, the excitement and feedback regarding The London Show has been such that everyone behind it feels that the time is right to stage an independent show at this international hub.
The Chester Group established such a show in 2002 at the Renaissance Hotel. However, to appeal to a broader consumer market, it eventually upped sticks to the Midlands, where the show ultimately became the highly successful UK Audio Show.
Those familiar with the Radisson Red series of hotels will know that this is the company's fresher, hip, funky, and cool range of places to stay. Hopefully, this might help attract a younger, more contemporary audience. That said, the demographic of the UK Audio Show attendees has been a healthy mix on my visits.
Needless to say, being hosted at Heathrow also opens up the opportunity for international visitors and, perhaps, brands from overseas to more easily exhibit in the UK for the first time.
The London Audio Show 2024 will be open on April 20th and 21st, consciously well-spaced from any other events in the South that might be planned for this time of the year - also handy for any Munich Show previews.
Additionally, it has been capped at thirty exhibitors in the first year. We have been told by The Chester Group that this is to “achieve the right exhibitor type, brands, reveals and early appeal”. However, the venue has the scope to double this volume in 2025, which is one of the reasons it was chosen.
Early Bird Passes are now on sale priced at £7.50 for one day and £10 for two days, with the deal ending on January 31st 2024, when advanced day passes become £10 and two-day passes still at a reasonable £15.
Visitors will also be able to pay on the day. These prices are £15 for one day and £25 for two days.
Venue details are: Radisson RED London Heathrow, Middlesex, Bath Road (Building B), West Drayton, Heathrow UB7 0DU.
