Naim 300 Series & Retro-styled NAIT 50 Announced
Naim has unwrapped its 300-series NSS 333 streamer, NAC 332 pre-amp, NAP 350 monoblock, NVC TT phono stage and NPX TT power supply alongside the retro-tinged NAIT 50 integrated at High End Munich 2023.
Naim has plenty for visitors to this year's High End Show in Munich as it unveils its new 300-series components as well as the cute (8.7x20.7x32.1cm (HxWxD)) retrotastic NAIT 50 25W integrated amplifier.
NAIM 300 SERIES
The new 300-series includes the NSS 333 streamer, NAC 332 pre-amplifier, NAP 350 monoblock power amplifier, NVC TT phono stage and NPX TT power supply. In addition, Naim states that the NSS 333 streamer and NAC 332 pre-amplifier can receive an additional performance boost via the NPX 300 power supply.
NAIM NSS 333 MUSIC STREAMER
The NSS 333 supports top-rate file formats from UPnP devices and streaming services, including Spotify, Apple Music, TIDAL and Qobuz, while Apple AirPlay 2 and Chromecast built-in compatibility alongside “top-quality” Bluetooth hands you even more streaming options.
Further connectivity is offered via Optical TOSLINK, coaxial RCA and BNC ports.
A full-colour, high-resolution 5.5-inch display shows track details and more. Meanwhile, balanced outputs and Zigbee remote control, which allows non-line-of-sight bi-directional control, increases placement options.
NAIM NAC 332 ANALOGUE PRE-AMPLIFIER
We're told that the NAC 332 borrows many elements from Naim's flagship Statement S1 pre-amp, making it an “analogue source hub without compromise”.
Featuring superior through-hole components for higher quality performance and “Class A discrete balanced input circuits”, Naim boasts that the NAC 332 is its “most adaptable pre-amplifier to date”, offering a headphone connection (1.5W pure class A) with vinylistas having the option to add the NVC TT phono stage. Meanwhile, outputs include balanced XLR.
NAIM NAP 350 MONOBLOCK AMPLIFIER
Naim tells us that this state-of-the-art 175W (8Ω @0.1% THD+N (195W @1%)) Pure class A/B fully regulated monoblock design offers tailored capability across an extensive range of loudspeaker options.
Meanwhile, its internal cooling system allows for discrete placement within your chosen environment. Finally, high current delivery for dynamics, peaking at 1.7kW into low impedances, promises to drive even the most demanding loudspeakers.
NAIM NVC TT & NPX TT PHONO STAGE AND PSU
The NVC TT is said to be an evolution of Naim's Solstice Special Edition phono stage and power supply pairing.
Fully compatible with moving magnet and moving coil cartridges via 16 selectable resistive values and 16 selectable capacitive values.
Finally, the NVC TT can be upgraded using the NPX TT power supply for peerless performance and wider connectivity options.
NAIM NAIT 50
Unmistakably linked through the NAIT 1's DNA from 1983, the NAIT 50 features technically improved circuits thanks to know-how gathered by Naim's engineers.
Available from June 2023 in a limited edition of only 1,973 pieces, in tribute to the 50th anniversary and the year the brand created by Julian Vereker, NAIT 50 promises to produce “exacting dynamics with all the confidence and authority” expected from a Naim integrated amplifier.
Linking with all loudspeakers, it can also be combined with a streamer to make the ultimate hi-fi system. Additionally, NAIT 50 offers a headphone output.
