Campfire Audio Spring 2020 Earphone Collection
Campfire Audio has announced its spring 2020 product launch, with Andromeda and Solaris 2020 issues and the all-new Ara earphones.
Campfire Audio's new releases for spring 2020 have been officially revealed and includes the freshly updated Solaris 2020 and Andromeda 2020, and the brand-new Ara seven-driver earphone.
Campfire Ara
The newcomer to the family is the Campfire Audio Ara (£1299). The Ara uses titanium shells to house seven balanced armature drivers. Each earphone features dual high, single mid and quad low drivers that sit in a new solid-body internal acoustic chamber design. The Portland, Oregon based boutique headphone and earphone specialist says that the Ara is its most ambitious release to date and results in a quoted frequency response of 10-26kHz.
Campfire Solaris 2020
The Campfire Audio Solaris 2020 (£1499) is said to be 20% smaller than the original version, with a new all-black finish and a new solid-body internal acoustic chamber design that helps it achieve a frequency response of 5Hz-20kHz, according to the spec sheet. Inside the 3D printed shell's polarity tuned chamber sits a single mid balanced armature and a 10mm ADLC diaphragm dynamic driver.
Additionally, the Solaris 2020 ships with a new 'Super Smokey Litz' silver-plated copper cable fitted with moulded ear hooks.
Campfire Andromeda 2020
Meanwhile, the Campfire Audio Andromeda 2020 (£1099) also sports a new solid-body internal acoustic chamber designed to enhance the sound of the classic Andromeda with more detail retrieval and improved vocal presence, says the brand. Here the earphones are loaded with dual high, a single mid and dual low balanced armature drivers that achieve a frequency response of 10Hz-28kHz.
Each of the Spring 2020 range comes with a sustainably harvested cork zipper case that's hand made in Portugal - Ara's is blue, Andromeda 2020 comes with a green one, and Solaris 2020 is bundled with a brown case.
